As the final whistle blows on the 2025 Canterbury Rugby season, we can’t help but reflect on what an incredible year it’s been, both on and off the field.
From community visits and giveaways to the launch of our new domain name misco.kiwi, this season has been one to remember.

At Misco, our story began right here in Canterbury over 37 years ago, in a small shed on a family farm on Marshland Road. Today, we’re proud to employ more than 80 talented locals, but our values remain the same: family, community, and craftsmanship.
That’s why our partnership with Canterbury Rugby means so much to us. It’s more than just sponsorship; it’s about giving back to the people and places that have helped shape who we are.
Broomfield School Visit

One of our favourite moments this year was visiting Broomfield School with members of the Canterbury Rugby team. The smiles said it all.
Players ran drills with the kids, signed autographs, and handed out Misco giveaways, from drink bottles and mini rugby balls to sweet treats. The excitement and joy on the school field reminded us exactly why community connection is so important.

A Proud Moment: Launching misco.kiwi
This season also marked a huge milestone for us, the official launch of our new domain name, misco.kiwi, in partnership with Dot Kiwi.

The big reveal took place at the Canterbury vs Taranaki Family Day on Sunday, 5 October.
Despite the wind and rain, the energy in the stadium was electric. Families enjoyed giveaways in the kids’ zone, a silent disco, and even a dance-off between our very own Misco Kiwi and Larry the Lamb.

Our Misco logo has proudly featured on Canterbury’s NPC and FPC jerseys all season but seeing misco.kiwi displayed on the jersey for the ‘throwback’ game was a truly special moment. It symbolises our evolution, still proudly Kiwi at heart, but ready for what’s next.

Partnering with Dot Kiwi felt like the natural next step for us. We’re a Kiwi company through and through, family-owned, community-driven, and passionate about creating spaces New Zealanders love to live in.
The new domain, misco.kiwi, captures that perfectly. It reflects both our heritage and the direction our business is heading, innovative, nationwide, and proudly Kiwi-made.
